PROJECT DESCRIPTION: ACCIS is a large ecosystem that supports NYC subsidized childcare for low-income & cash assistance recipients. The ACCIS database contains in excess of 880,000, children, 450,000 cases, and 20,000 program providers.  ACCIS ecosystem comprises of PowerBuilder, Informix, .Net, Angular most recent versions as required by OTI Cyber policy.
 
Tasks & Duties
  • Perform Testing/Evaluation
  • Develops and prepares high-level and comprehensive test plan, test implementation document, and scope for different phases of testing and change requests.
  • Develop test strategy based on functionality, key business needs and system capabilities.
  • Perform manual and automated functional testing, GUI testing, defect management, issue resolution, and production implementation, system testing, and regression testing to identify potential issues.
  • Capture, monitor, and analyze test results to ensure the features work end-to-end for users.
  • Perform Business analysis
  •  Works with business analysts, stakeholders and project team during requirement analysis.
  • Review User Requirements, User Interface Specifications and Design Documents.
  • Work directly with the client to prepare, adopt, or agree on all specifications provided by the client.
  • Analyze and translate business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Create and maintain documents including business process workflows, functional specifications, and traceability matrices.
  • Perform data analysis/report analysis
  • Perform extensive data validation/quality assurance analysis within large dataset
  • Design and generate reports based on user needs using SQL and MS office tools
  • Perform decision making statistical analysis of data for stakeholders.
  • Craft and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership through data-driven analysis.
  • Perform Project co-ordination/ Release coordination
  • Creates and manages realistic project timelines, milestones, and Sprint plans.
  • Take ownership of various project management activities including managing meetings and agendas, capturing notes and action items, and developing.
  • Extensive usage of JIRA to track issues/task management, project roadmaps, and project backlogs.
  • Coordinate to all stakeholders and users about the new version releases with the changes/updates in each release.
Required Skills 
A minimum of 4 years of experience with the following skill sets:
·        Strong understanding of software testing best practices and test methodologies.
·        Strong understanding and experience developing test cases (regression, functional, unit, integration, performance, end-to-end, etc.)
·        Manage Test scenarios and execution of test cases across all testing phases. (e.g. SIT, Performance, UAT).
·        Ability to write test case specifications, automation and data generation.
·        Analyze results, identify functional and performance issues and write clear and detailed bug reports
·        Ability to interact with business stakeholders, system integrators and external support providers for collecting/analyzing requirements.
·        Ability to work with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements
·        Ability to create and generate reports using PowerBuilder, MS office tools and SQL
·        Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
·        Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines.
·        JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Azure DevOps and MS Visio.
Compensation: $60.00 per hour
